Zoomer Television and Small Space Living

Small Space Living ft Vivien Sharon

I had the pleasure to be on Television in one of the ZoomerTV Episodes recently!

As a real estate broker with Sotheby's International Realty Canada and a Master-ASA (Seniors Real Estate) specialist, I was thrilled to participate on a recent TV show "The Zoomer" which aired on Zoomer Media on Vision TV. The topic was Downsizing for Baby Boomers.

Downsizing for the 55 plus and Senior demographic is a major topic today and represents a growing segment of the Canadian population.  As the population ages, there are many issues that concern this group. One is real estate.

Frequent real estate questions that arise are:  "What are our choices? When we downsize, do we rent or buy?  Should we move to the city or live in the suburbs near our children?  How do we prepare our home for sale? How do we declutter our home after accumulating more than 30 or 40 years of "stuff. Do we have enough money to retire when we sell? How do we begin the process and ask for help from a real estate professional? What is our house worth in today's market and what can we afford to buy and have money to last for the next 30 years post retirement?"

Other panelists included Varsha Singh of http://clutterbgone.ca, Sa'ad Ahmed of http://tinyto.ca, Andrea Ford of https://www.restylestudiotoronto.com and Todd Coffell and Danny Granger of Home Hardware Liberty Village.
