I was thrilled to be interviewed recently by the founder, Ado Topuz, of Agent Locator. Agent Locator is an on-line lead generation company that connects buyers and sellers with real estate professionals. I have found it to be an excellent way to connect with both buyers and sellers.

I joined the platform toward the end of 2017, and I have been thrilled with the results. I was able to close three deals in just several months of using the platform. 

With this platform, consumers are able to search for new property listings, according to their desired price point, location, type of home, including many other criteria. In my case, many potential buyers look at listings in my area of specialty: Yorkville, the Annex, Casa Loma, Rosedale, Yonge-St.Clair and the Yonge Street corridor to Yonge and Finch. Some are also interested in Vaughan and Thornhill. 

One can get many leads every month, but the key is to know which leads are serious and which are not. Concentrate on developing relationships with serious buyers or sellers who are ready to take action. I suggest calling them, finding out about their needs, and then meeting over a cup of coffee. The next step is showing them properties that meet their criteria if they are buyers or meeting sellers in their home and discussing the marketing of their property.

The platform works, but you have to work it, too.
